LEED Silver Targeted !

The Advanced Research Complex is full of sustainable features! From the beginning, a green building design was decided upon and is finally in the process of meeting the LEED Silver target. Built with high energy efficiency standards, durable and recycled materials and high efficiency M+E systems the ARC displays how a laboratory filled building can achieve a sustainable design. ARC Opening Ceremony Tuesday September 30th, 2014.

C+A were on hand at the opening ceremony of the new $70 million Advanced Research Complex at uOttawa Tuesday September 30th. The building which will house two of the U of O’s strongest departments, took place in the sleek and light-filled lobby of the complex on Tuesday.
