“I will provide architects with strong representation at the OAA council meetings and advocate on behalf of the OAA Members in the Eastern Ontario Region. I am an active participant in the building, design and architectural education communities. I am available to listen to members and from their perspectives further the development of our provincial association.
I hope to increase awareness among the general public for our profession and help to bring greater respect for the profession among client groups and improve the relationship between clients and their architects. The OAA needs to improve its involvement in public sector procurement procedures and provide support for practices working on both public and private sector contracts that are unreasonable or penalize architects.
My wife and children support me in providing this service for the benefit of our association and practicing architects in Ontario, and are on board with my commitment to candidacy and subsequent role as councilor over the next three years. I ask for your support in running for councilor and will make a positive impact on our association, directing, leading and advocating for positive changes to our provincial association and support of our profession as architects.”
