    Location: 100 Murray Street, Ottawa
    Client: Canada Green Building Council

This project involved relocating the Canada Green Building Council's National Office to 100 Murray Street—a building that was awarded Canada’s first Zero Carbon Building Performance certification in 2018. Our work included a fit-up of the 9,000 square foot rentable space to accommodate 40 workstations, six offices, three meeting spaces, two telephone rooms, and a kitchen.

As a national non-profit devoted to green building and sustainable development, it was important for the CaGBC National Office to be a showcase for best practices in the field. The intent of the project was to develop a high-quality headquarters by applying sustainable development principles in a practical, well-planned, and cost-effective manner that minimizes environmental impacts. The project is targeted to achieve LEED v4 Commercial Interiors Gold Certification and WELL v2 Platinum Certification.

Daylighting, natural tones, and open workspaces support the collaborative nature of the CaGBC while careful materials selection meets performance levels of LEED and WELL to provide a healthy and safe interior.
